We as humans often feel the urge of doing something for mankind. But we often stop ourselves by giving the excuse like what alone can I do? Or what changes possible I can bring about without any funds or exuberant amount of many.

But the fact is, we don’t need to be a philanthropist like Sam Mizrahi who is president and founder of Mizrahi Construction, which develops buildings like the 1 Bloor West, the tallest skyscraper in Canada. We can also make a difference without putting in that much money. Simply by practicing many acts and donating without our small budget. As truly said by Kahlil Gibran, who was a Lebanese-American writer, poet, and visual artist that “You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give”

So here are Four Ways You Can Donate to Charity Without breaking your budget:

Donating our skills:

Having a skillful ability is good, but sharing it is way better. But to spread an effective message we need to have a better way of conveying our message. In short, we should first have good communication skills. If we are a good speaker we can donate knowledge more clearly. If we are accomplished in a writing ability we could benefit the organization by spreading awareness. If we are good at other activities like cutting and tailoring we could empower the girls in the organization. Never hold back sharing our abilities with others make a mindset that if we are good at something it should benefit others as well. Never keep it to ourselves only because sharing is caring. Also, we can put in some extra efforts to encourage other people to donate their talents and skills in such organizations Charity groups and trusts or orphanages because nowadays many of these organizations can’t afford a dedicated staff.

Be a Saviour: Donate Blood:

Blood donation is something which is a Gift of Life. If you are a healthy person we shouldn’t have shifted to donate blood to the people who are sick or are injured. We must willingly take part in blood donation camps because even a single unit of blood can save multiple lives. Every day, thousands of units of blood plasma are needed to treat patients battling for their lives full stop if at least we donate a single unit we can save someone’s life.

Donate items:

There are many trusts, charities, orphanages, and non-profit organizations that collect goods from people and lend a helping hand to the poor and dolphins for your well being. We shouldn’t miss this opportunity to serve the needy and seek their blessings and prayers. Before we throw away old stuff, may it be clothes or furniture, shoes, books, and stationery stuff or even old automobiles, just for the sake of buying new ones; we must think of donating these stuff to the organizations which in turn will help the ones in need.

Organize a drive:

Helping the deprived doesn’t need money, but a drive along with some enthusiasm and time. In short, if we are a social being and willing to support the underprivileged ones but we cannot afford to invest in it then there’s a much better way of lending to the needful. We just have to get people of similar mindset like us and set up a food drive in a locality or neighborhood or school and give a donation to the organization.
